John Brahy brings 36 years of professional insurance, business and community experience to his clients.  John is deeply knowledable about insurance distribution and the best products for any given customer circumstance. With twenty years of experience as General Agent for two of the leading life insurance companies in America, The Guardian and American National Insurance, customers can be assured they will get prompt service and products with the best fit for their individual and business needs.  John is the founder of Brahy Insurance Services, Inc. (BISI), Redwood City, CA.  He has been guiding the growth of this agency for the last sixteen years.

John Brahy received his education across four institutions, College of San Mateo, San Mateo, CA; Green River College, Auburn, Wa; Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA; , and the Fellowship at American College, Bryn Mar, PA.

John is active in two well respected insurance and financial advisor professional associations.  National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and the National Association Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).  This enables him to stay current on important legislation and industry trends to better serve his clientele.

On a personal note, John and Gayle are the proud parents of two daughters, Kimberly and Tracy and a son John Brahy II.  The Brahy clan is expanding with four beautiful granddaughters, Nicole, Wendy, Emma, and Amy.  Son John was married in 2005.
